about NESSIE project

NESSIE=Networking on Environmental Safety & Sustainability Initiative for Engineering

The core subject of NESSIE project is dealing with Earth‐Friendly Environmental Engineering for Safety and Sustainability by generating and disseminating knowledge between world regions by setting‐up a targeted mobility scheme at PhD, post‐doc and staff levels. NESSIE commitment is to educate the next generation of professional and scientific leaders able to drive projects trough real cross‐discipline approach allying knowledge from both Engineering and Environmental Science domains.

NESSIE program aims to train high‐qualified researchers and engineers by fostering cutting‐edge scientific research for identifying, evaluating and monitoring the interface between anthropic activities and their impacts on natural resources. Major areas of interest and activity in the program include ;

Environmental engineering implications on energy and resource consumption
